Why Portraits
Portraits Nail Studio was founded on a simple belief: that taking time for yourself should feel natural, not indulgent.
Located on Lordship Lane in East Dulwich, our studio is a calm, welcoming space for the neighbourhood; whether you're fitting in a moment of care between commitments or taking some much-needed time for yourself.
Our approach is rooted in care, quality and the belief that looking after yourself can be found in the smallest rituals. Beautifully cared-for nails, a welcoming space and time to pause, all part of the Portraits experience.

Meet the founder
KSARA
I’ve been working in nail care over the last 10 years, with experience in both Santorini, Greece, and London. Along the way, I’ve developed my skills and completed my Level 3 VTCT Diploma in Nail Technology, but what has always mattered most to me is the care and attention behind every appointment.
As someone local to East Dulwich, opening Portraits Nail Studio was a chance to create a space that feels part of the community, somewhere people can feel comfortable, switch off and take a little time for themselves.
What I love most about my work is getting to know my clients, the little conversations we share and seeing how something as simple as a fresh manicure can leave someone feeling more confident. I want every person who visits to feel genuinely looked after, never rushed, and to leave feeling good, both about their nails and the time they’ve taken for themselves.

The space
Soft light, warm marble and deep, comfortable seating. The studio was designed as a place to slow down, whether you have popped in for a quick polish or are settling in for the full ritual.
